About the Role
The organization is on the lookout for a dynamic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join its leadership team and promote a People First culture. The CHRO will be instrumental in developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our scientific, educational, and operational objectives. This role includes managing the full employee life cycle, from talent acquisition to development and retention, and spearheading initiatives that cultivate an inclusive and purpose-driven workplace culture. A successful candidate will provide strategic oversight of our total rewards programs, ensure adherence to employment laws, and lead our immigration efforts.
We seek someone with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred) and at least 10 years of progressive experience in an HR leadership role. Ideal candidates will have a strong history of advancing large-scale people and culture initiatives within complex environments such as research institutes or academic medical centers. Applicants should bring a deep understanding of employment law, workforce compliance, and organizational development practices.
The CHRO will be expected to offer thought leadership on contemporary workplace trends, workforce readiness, and workplace culture in research and academic settings. Furthermore, we value candidates who are adept at utilizing people data, analytics, and digital tools to inform strategy and enhance decision-making.
