Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in cardiac diagnostic and PCI procedures for a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities Position is in an acute care hospital cardiac catheterization lab Handles cardiac diagnostic and PCI cases, with preference for experience in structural heart procedures Average patient ratio is 3:1 Responsibilities include both scrubbing and monitoring during procedures Uses Epic EMR and GE MacLab systems; Epic experience is required Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM On-call up to 2 days per week and every other weekend Floating may be required within service line and scope First-time travelers are accepted for this position RTO is limited to 7 days within a 13-week contract and not allowed during the first week of orientation On-call coverage required every other weekend Permanent former employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Travelers may stay for up to 18 months with a mandatory 3-month break after, or 12 months for allied/non-clinical roles with a 6-month break Scrubs are provided by the facility No cost for parking All team members must complete fit testing; facial hair must allow for proper mask fit No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius
Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist Current BLS certification is required Experience with scrubbing and monitoring cardiac diagnostic and PCI cases Preferred experience in structural heart cases Proficiency with Epic EMR is required License required if applicable; MO state or compact license required for Missouri, pending license accepted for Illinois Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility SSN and DOB required for consideration
