Water/Wastewater Technician/Designer

to support planning and design efforts for vital water and wastewater projects across Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to help deliver high-impact infrastructure that protects public health and the environment.

Key Responsibilities Assist in the

design and drafting

of water and wastewater systems including pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, and treatment facilities Prepare detailed

construction drawings, plans, and specifications

using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software Support

hydraulic modeling and analysis

for water distribution and sewer collection systems Conduct

site visits and field work

to collect data, support construction administration, and verify existing conditions Perform

quantity take-offs , assist in the preparation of cost estimates, and support bid documents Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, CAD technicians, and other team members to ensure design quality and compliance with project goals Support

regulatory permitting , documentation, and technical report development Help maintain project records and support quality control/quality assurance efforts Stay current with design standards and regulatory requirements related to water and wastewater systems Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or related field (or equivalent experience) 10+ years of experience in civil/site design, preferably with water/wastewater projects Proficiency with

AutoCAD, Civil 3D , and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with

hydraulic modeling tools

such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or SWMM is a plus Strong

attention to detail , organizational skills, and eagerness to learn Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a collaborative team environment Motivated self-starter and independent thinker Passion for public infrastructure and sustainable water resource solutions Benefits
