As Controller, you'll serve as a financial leader and partner to the executive team. From overseeing accounting operations and reporting to guiding budgeting and cost strategies, your work will directly impact both daily operations and long-term planning. Your background in both manufacturing and construction environments will allow you to lead initiatives in cost control, job costing, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Lead daily accounting functions: AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close Manage job costing and project accounting for construction operations Establish and oversee cost accounting systems for manufacturing activities Prepare accurate financial reports and statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually) Coordinate company-wide budgeting and forecasting processes Maintain GAAP compliance and ensure adherence to financial regulations Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting systems and workflows Collaborate with leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and cash management Liaise with external auditors, banks, and insurance representatives Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus) 5-7+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience Must have experience in both manufacturing and construction industries Deep understanding of cost accounting and job costing methodologies Strong ERP/accounting software skills Leadership qualities with excellent communication and analytical abilities Hands-on, team-focused, and ready to work onsite in Fresno, CA
