Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that's looking for a
Regional Controller.
This company is looking for someone with 7+ years of experience, who is inquisitive, and an excellent leader. This company provides a collaborative culture, flexibility, and competitive benefits. This position is onsite.
The salary for this job is $150k - $190k.
The
Regional Controller
will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead plant-level accounting and cost accounting functions across three manufacturing plants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies. Manage standard costing, variance analysis, and reporting on manufacturing performance, including labor, overhead, and material costs. Partner with plant leadership to analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support operational decision-making. Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventory to ensure accuracy and integrity of plant financial results. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual plant financial statements and ensure timely submission. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for plant operations. Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and external audit requirements. Mentor and develop accounting staff supporting plant operations. The

will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred. 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including cost accounting and plant/operations finance leadership. Prior Plant-Level manufacturing industry experience required. Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and cost accounting principles. Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with operations and senior leadership.
