We are seeking an experienced
Maintenance Electronic Technician
to join our team. This role is responsible for performing advanced electrical and PLC maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide variety of industrial machinery and systems.
Shifts Available:
2nd Shift:
Mon–Fri | 2:00pm–10:00pm
3rd Shift:
Sun–Thurs | 10:00pm–6:00am
4th Shift:
Fri–Sat–Sun | 6:00am–6:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Perform complex electrical, electronic, and PLC maintenance and troubleshooting.
Maintain, repair, and install equipment using schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Troubleshoot and repair motor control centers, start circuits, control loops, generators, and high-voltage systems (240V & 480V, 3-phase).
Work with Allen-Bradley PLC 5000, PanelView, and SLC 500 systems.
Maintain automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and drives.
Use testing equipment (multimeters, megohm meters, oscilloscopes, etc.) for diagnostics.
Perform electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Provide guidance and support to Maintenance Mechanics and apprentices.
Ensure preventive maintenance is completed to maximize equipment uptime.
Promote safe work practices and maintain a clean, compliant work environment.
Accurately log maintenance activity using a computerized maintenance system.
Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician certification required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial electrical/electronics and PLC maintenance.
Proven experience with Allen-Bradley PLC 5000, PanelView, and SLC 500.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics, troubleshoot automation, and edit PLC logic.
Strong knowledge of high-voltage equipment, motor controls, and protective relays.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Strong math and measurement skills.
Must pass required medical exam, including X-ray.
