At Paragon Precision, we are looking for a skilled and dynamic CNC Grinding Machinist. In this role, you will demonstrate your expertise in CNC machining, focusing on tight tolerances and complex parts, especially in creep feed surface grinding. We offer both first and second shift opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate creep feed grinders safely and efficiently
Make program adjustments as necessary
Verify machine settings before operations
Follow detailed specifications from customer or internal documentation
Utilize in-process gauges for validation and accurate documentation
Conduct basic maintenance in line with the PM schedule
Manage consumable inventory and provide necessary feedback
Document and communicate actions to ensure shift continuity
Identify and suggest continuous improvement opportunities
Troubleshoot and resolve tool or equipment issues
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Train team members to meet growing production demands
Grind complex tight tolerance features in high-temperature alloys
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of GD&T with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Proficient in basic shop math and computer literacy
Ability to work effectively in a team or independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, creative, and collaborative approach to work
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years of relevant CNC surface grinding experience
Demonstrated consistency in industry employment
Portfolio or work samples preferred
Willingness to showcase on-machine capabilities
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Compensation:
Up to $36.00 per hour, based on relevant experience
