JOB SUMMARY

The Emerging Talent Programs Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing structured initiatives, such as trainee programs, internships, or leadership development programs, to cultivate and prepare future talent for the organization's evolving needs. This role ensures all programs are aligned with the organization's long-term talent strategy and leadership development initiatives. The Manager will oversee the delivery of consistent, high-quality experiences for participants, while enabling business leaders to identify and cultivate future talent. Through cross-functional collaboration, data-driven insights, and continuous improvement, the Manager, Emerging Talent Programs will ensure these initiatives contribute meaningfully to talent acquisition, development, and retention outcomes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Alongside leadership team, execute a multi-year strategy for pipeline programs aligned with business strategic goals and talent needs with key deliverables to include program completion rate, conversions/hires, engagement and turnover rate. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team focused on talent pipeline initiatives. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Design and continuously improve pipeline programs to ensure ongoing viability and meet business demands. Partner with business leaders to identify critical skill areas and career pathways. Manage program marketing, calendars, budgets, and logistics across programs. Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and mentors involved in supporting programs. Collaborate with HR partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to ensure program effectiveness. Alongside Talent Acquisition, maintain relationships with potential candidates, academic institutions, and external partners to support talent pipelines. Monitor program metrics and provide regular reporting to leadership. Ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for participants and stakeholders. Promote programs through internal and external channels to enhance employer brand. Represent the company at national conferences and university engagements. Perform other job-related functions as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE:

Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY:

Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources in a medium to large organization, with 2 years' experience developing talent programs, additional experience in a supervisory capacity preferred. Proven success in developing and scaling internships and talent pipeline programs. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; experience influencing stakeholders at all levels. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to travel during peak campus recruitment seasons. COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software. Good knowledge across Human Resources disciplines and applicable Federal, State, and local laws pertaining to employment, recruitment, and Human Resource management. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to provide professional and timely customer service to internal and external customers. Passion for talent development and building future workforce capabilities.
