SNI Companies has partnered with a large organization in Austin, TX that is seeking a Payroll/HR Generalist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for administrating bi-weekly payroll and company benefits while providing overall support to the HR team.
Breakdown of Responsibilities:
50% Payroll/Benefits
-Process a multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now:
-Preparing GL reports for AP and Treasury to ensure proper cost allocation and funding
-Preparing funding reports to allocate benefit contributions
-Maintain benefit policies, enrollments, changes, terminations, reconciling the invoices and submitting for payment
25% HR Compliance
-Running pre-employment background checks
-Employee Orientations
-Verification of Employments
-Updating HRIS Systems with new hires/changes/terminations
25% Employee Engagement
-Serve as a point of contact to employees for questions and elevate when necessary
-Organize HR led events (potlucks, HR lunches, charity fund drives, training sessions such as open enrollment and corporate training)
Technical Skills:
Previous Payroll Processing Experience/Experience using ADP preferred
Medium level of Excel Experience (basic formulas, filter, basic pivot tables)
Bilingual (English & Spanish) - preferred
