Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Employee Benefits Senior Account Manager
to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is pivotal in supporting Account Executives and managing mid-market accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, brokerage experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
Provide behind-the-scenes support to Account Executives, ensuring seamless account management. Manage mid-market accounts (100-500 lives) with a focus on fully insured and self-funded plans. Develop a deep understanding of assigned accounts and gradually take ownership of a book of business within 6-8 months. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively. Assist in client meetings and discussions as needed, supporting Account Executives in delivering exceptional service. Utilize and adapt to company systems, including BenefitPoint (transitioning to Epic in 2026). Qualifications/Requirements
Licenses : Active Life & Health (L&H) license required. Experience : Minimum of 4-5 years in employee benefits, with a background in a brokerage setting. Skills : Proficiency in managing accounts from start to finish; bilingual candidates are preferred. Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with BenefitPoint or similar systems is a plus. Soft Skills : Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, adaptability, and a client-focused mindset.
