PGS Worldwide is actively seeking an
Electronics Test Technician
to support advanced aerospace and defense manufacturing operations in
Oldsmar, FL . This
1-year contract-to-hire
position operates on a
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule , with overtime available on weekends. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing electronic circuit card assemblies, performing RF measurements, and troubleshooting to the component level in a fast-paced production environment.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum
1 year of direct experience
testing electronic assemblies or subassemblies Strong proficiency in
component-level troubleshooting
of solid-state, analog, digital, and RF circuits Experience using
oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, network analyzers, and RF power meters Familiarity with
schematic diagrams
and electrical test documentation Experience with
flying probe or high-power test systems Proficiency with
Microsoft Office Suite
and data collection tools for accurate documentation Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail Desired Qualifications:
Extensive RF testing experience
with complex electronic systems Familiarity with radar systems
or high-frequency test environments Previous
military "backshop" experience
involving electronics troubleshooting and repair Ability to adapt quickly and perform under tight production schedules Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate test apparatus for electronic assemblies, RF circuits, and subassemblies Conduct and document tests following engineering methods, procedures, and standards Adjust, calibrate, and troubleshoot systems to ensure performance compliance Replace or repair defective components and assemblies as directed Analyze test data to evaluate performance and support product improvements Collaborate with engineers to refine test procedures and recommend design or process modifications Maintain accurate records, calibration logs, and test documentation
Education Requirements: High School Diploma (or equivalent) with additional technical training or an Associate degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated technical ability.
