Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with a current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT certification for full-time day shifts.
Responsibilities Hospital-based MRI department Shift runs from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Performs MRI scans and radiologic procedures on diverse patient populations Responsibilities include performing high-quality diagnostic MR imaging and administering IV contrast as needed Compliance with hospital radiology standards and safety protocols is expected All required modules and training must be completed prior to assignment start Candidates with expiring certifications must provide renewal receipts or proof of scheduled course dates Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
Requirements Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License (license required if applicable) Active ARRT certification R.T. (R) (MR) NYS IV/Injection Certification required Current BLS certification (AHA only accepted) Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required, 2 years preferred Submission of at least two professional references from prior managers
