Quality Assurance Manager Location:

Mission: Our client, a producer of premium food products, is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to add to their team. In this role you will be responsible for managing the Quality Assurance and Food Safety functions food production and packaging.
Successful candidates MUST HAVE quality assurance leadership experience in a food processing plant environment (and/or other singular qualifier under Competencies/Culture below).
Compensation/Benefits: Compensation: 110-125k, bonus Medical, Dental, Vision Paid Vacation/Holidays Retirement Benefits Relocation What you'll be responsible for:
Overseeing the facility's SQF system, including food safety and food quality fundamentals, HACCP and GMP, audits, and updating all SQF documents, manuals, procedures, and forms Maintaining and updating food safety and quality training and education Develop and implement quality methods and quality procedures for monitoring work activities to include weight control, moisture, and ingredient analysis, as well as assist in sanitation Manage, plan, coordinate, and direct the plant's quality assurance technicians Interface with key customers and their quality teams; manage and assist with customer complaints and resolution Utilize quality data to drive improvements in the operation Competencies/Culture:
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or related field 5+ years of Quality Assurance Leadership experience in a food or beverage processing environment SQF required Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing experience a plus Experiencd with regulatory, including food product labeling laws PCQI and HACCP certifications Experience leading a team of QA professionals and cross-departmental leadership Ability to travel 10%
