Resort EMT - PRN

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a

Resort EMT.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safety of guests, associates, vendors, contractors, and other persons in all aquatic and dry attractions, public area, convention center, resort rooms, student housing, parking lots and other resort property while on duty; applying life-saving skills and first aid to any person(s) who is in need.

This position is PRN - no guaranteed minimum hours.

Key Responsibilities Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, safety guidelines and training programs for all waterpark venues. Apply lifesaving skills and first aid to any guest/associate who is in need quickly. Maintain the high standards set forth by the National Aquatics Safety Company and the Kalahari safety procedures through leading by example and supporting all staff members. Ensure that all guests feel welcome and safe and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always. Fully understand and comply with all Federal, State, County and Municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of waterpark outlets/venues, associates and guests. What We're Looking For

We do require that you have a background, consisting of: Current First Aid Certificate required including Oxygen usage and Automated External Defibrillation (AED). Candidates are required to have current EMT (Basic, Advanced, Paramedic) State Registry, National Registry, and the Medical Advisor must approve for their licensure before hiring is approved -- dependent upon site location.
