Start your shift with a walkthrough of our cold storage facility, checking system readings and trends. You’ll fine‑tune ammonia refrigeration equipment, schedule PMs in Oracle CMMS, and calibrate HVAC components so operations run safely and efficiently. Throughout the day, you’ll investigate alarms, perform component swaps under LOTO, and document everything with precision.

What you’ll own

Operate, adjust, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems across the warehouse.

Track performance data; identify abnormal conditions and drive root‑cause analysis.

Replace valves, sensors, motors, and other components following safe LOTO procedures and in alignment with the PSM program.

Perform pump‑down/evacuation of refrigerant when needed for valve replacement or repair.

Complete routine maintenance on warehouse equipment to OSHA standards.

Use voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges to test, maintain, and evaluate equipment; test and calibrate HVAC equipment.

Inspect finished work to ensure it meets blueprints, specifications, and safety requirements.

Test safety devices to verify compliance with OSHA and operational standards.

Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records in the CMMS and keep tooling/work areas 6S‑organized.

Work flexible hours as business needs change, including on‑call rotation.

Pitch in on related tasks and special assignments as needed.

What you bring

High school diploma or GED.

EITHER 2+ years of industrial refrigeration maintenance experience OR 3+ years in industrial maintenance plus relevant certifications (e.g., RETA, Garden City, EPA Universal, etc.).

Willingness to successfully complete assigned industrial refrigeration and maintenance courses.

Hands‑on experience with controls such as ALTA/Allen Bradley, including troubleshooting and repairs.

HAZMAT training with the ability to obtain and maintain certification.

Experience using Oracle Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Stand‑out capabilities

Cold storage facility experience.

Ammonia refrigeration maintenance background.

CARO and CIRO certifications.

Advanced proficiency with Oracle CMMS.

Component‑level troubleshooting on refrigeration equipment.

Willingness to share knowledge and coach junior technicians.
