A day in the life

Start your shift with a walk-through of the production floor in South Fort Worth. You’ll scan line status, review overnight work orders, and prioritize PMs before the first run. Mid-morning, a packaging line throws a fault—your diagnostics with a meter and laptop point to a VFD issue. You isolate, replace, and test, getting the line back on spec. Later, you dig into a hydraulic leak on a forming unit, swap seals, and verify pressures. You wrap up by documenting work, tidying your area, and lining up parts for tomorrow’s preventive maintenance.

What you’ll do

Install, maintain, and optimize production machinery and facility equipment to meet uptime targets.

Respond to emergency/unscheduled breakdowns and execute scheduled preventive maintenance.

Diagnose and repair across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and work orders to plan and perform service.

Replace or repair components, make adjustments, and verify performance against manufacturer and company standards.

Repair mechanically and electrically defective parts using hand/power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.

Identify faulty operations or materials and escalate unusual conditions to leadership.

Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

What you bring

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing; food industry background .

Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge; solid basic electrical skills.

Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints.

Own basic tools; specialized tools are supplied.

Hands-on familiarity with systems such as Multivac, ProSeal, GEA, Handtmann, and Riser is a plus.

Required: PLC and VFD troubleshooting experience.
