Our systems integration company is in need of a creative, full-time Design Engineer to bring clients’ dreams to life! You’ll work with our experienced systems integration team to develop integrated audiovisual and broadcast production systems for various high-profile government, corporate, religious, and sports facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and implementing complex production environments, including City Council Chambers, conference rooms, broadcast facilities for houses of worship, sports arenas, and corporate communications. Additional responsibilities include meeting with clients, integrating feedback, and revising designs as requested. Communication skills are a must in this role, as you’ll be regularly communicating the design progress to the construction team. Responsibilities: • Meet with clients during the beginning of the project to get project specifications and scope • Get feedback from the client and construction managers and revise designs as needed • Collaborate with construction team members to establish budgets and timelines for the designs • Use design software to produce 2D and/or 3D designs, depending on the complexity of the project • Lead the design and engineering of audiovisual and broadcast production systems for government and commercial facilities. • Develop detailed plans and specifications for AV, video, audio, networking, and control systems. • Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure designs meet operational, technical, and code requirements. • Specify and select equipment and technology solutions that optimize system performance and reliability. • Integrate IP networking, control systems, audio, and video components for seamless operation. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, NEC, and relevant local, state, and national codes and regulations. • Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and oversee system commissioning. • Stay current with technological advancements and incorporate innovative solutions into designs. Qualifications: • Have great attention to detail, with strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills • Proficient in using architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, AutoDesk BIM, Solidworks, 3DS Max, Chief Architect Premier: Construction Drawings, SketchUp, and Lumion • Proven experience designing government meeting production facilities, City Council Chambers, and similar public venues with available work examples. • Expertise in AV system design for broadcast and production environments, including houses of worship, sports venues, and corporate communication spaces. • Strong knowledge of networking (IP), audio, video, and control systems programming. • Familiarity with acoustics principles and their impact on AV system design. • Knowledge of NEC standards and other applicable laws, codes, and industry regulations. • Proficiency with CAD/BIM software for creating detailed system drawings. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Broadcast Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but candidates with extensive experience will be considered. Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 yearly

Compensation: $100,000-$130,000 per year
