Accountants One
Accountants One is working with a long-term, repeat client to help them hire an Assistant Controller. This is a very successful, real estate development and investment firm working in a family office setting. Process construction and development accounting including job cost, budget analysis, and financial reporting Complete financial close, maintain financial records and workpapers and prepare quarterly financial statements/ reports for investors Review monthly /quarterly close and reporting prepared by other team members. Prepare waterfall calculations with CFOs and prepare periodic distributions and capital calls to partners for CFO's approval Assist with due diligence requests and managing the due diligence process Maintain company and partner performance track record Assist CFO in forecasting, investment analysis and budgeting. Provide asset management support of Company investments. Including the coordination with Partners, third party property managers, leasing agents and legal counsel. Job Requirements:
Accounting degree required, CPA a plus Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate investment and development Understanding of real estate fundamentals, partner capital structures, waterfall distributions and IRRs preferred Advanced Excel to include modeling preferred MRI and Yardi accounting software a plus
