Our client is seeking an experience Sourcing & Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and procurement activities within the division, ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards. This role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop strategic supplier relationships.

The Opportunity: - Develop and implement sourcing strategies for machined parts that align with the division's goals and objectives. - Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing. - Evaluate supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure delivery of high-quality products. - Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand technical requirements and specifications for machined parts. - Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends. - Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to sourcing and procurement activities. - Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in procurement. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to reduce expenses without compromising quality. - Manage inventory levels to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize waste. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules. - Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What we are seeking: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, specifically with machined parts and castings. - Proven track record in supplier negotiations and relationship management. - Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct market research and analysis. - Strong leadership skills and experience in team management. - Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
