Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics and supply chain team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

TRAVERSE CITY, MI Pay Range: $19 - 1st shift $21 - 2nd shift Shift: 1st shift - 6 am to 2 pm 2nd shift 3 pm to 11 pm What's the Job? Read work orders via onboard computer and follow oral instructions to identify materials and products to be moved Examine received materials, verify part numbers, and check for discrepancies such as damaged or incomplete shipments Load and unload materials onto or from trucks, trailers, pallets, racks, etc., by pushing, pulling, lifting, or stacking, either manually or with equipment Convey materials or products from storage or work sites to designated areas and attach identifying tags or labels to containers Operate lift trucks safely and efficiently, controlling movement of lifting apparatus and relating professionally with customers and co-workers What's Needed? High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in warehouse or material handling roles Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and proficiency with computer systems Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures diligently Knowledge of receiving, warehouse, and material handling methods and operations What's in it for me?
