Plumbing Designer

Selectek is partnering with a company based in Marietta, Georgia  to hire a Plumbing Designer. This firm specializes in residential, commercial, and light industrial projects. Employment Type: Contract to Direct Expected Pay Range: $33.65-$45/hour before permanent conversion Location: Smyrna, GA Job Duties: •   Design and layout of engineering drawings within the Plumbing and Fire Protection specialties. •   Preparation of complete Plumbing and Fire Protection calculations including water supply, storm drainage, and equipment sizing. •   Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste and vent, storm water, domestic water distribution systems and natural gas distribution systems. •   Design, size, select, schedule, and specify basic Plumbing system components to include fixtures, specialties, and equipment. •   Design and select fire protection systems and equipment. Job Requirements: •   Associates degree or technical drafting certification •   7+ years’ experience as a plumbing designer working on commercial projects •   Familiarity with applicable building codes and associated engineering design practices •   Proficiency using AutoCAD •   Proficiency using Revit Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 7:30a – 4:30p Feel free to call Joey Fairbanks  with Selectek at 470.203.9530 for more information on this position or other openings in the area.
