About the Role
We're seeking an experienced
Quality Assurance Supervisor
to lead and strengthen quality initiatives within a growing manufacturing organization. This individual will be responsible for maintaining compliance with industry codes, managing inspections, and ensuring that all finished products meet rigorous quality standards. The right person will take pride in precision, documentation, and helping teams deliver excellence every time.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Quality Operations:
Supervise QA activities, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Ensure Code Compliance:
Maintain up-to-date certifications, verify welder and operator qualifications, and ensure adherence to relevant ASME and AWS codes. Documentation & Reporting:
Create, maintain, and oversee all QA documentation, manuals, and quality data reports. Cross-Department Collaboration:
Partner closely with Production, Engineering, and Project Management to resolve quality issues and align specifications. Team Leadership:
Train, guide, and evaluate QA staff; promote accountability and ongoing professional development. Continuous Improvement:
Identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and implement proactive solutions to prevent recurrence. Safety & Standards:
Ensure all QA practices align with company safety goals and support a compliant, efficient work environment.
Qualifications 5+ years of
relevant quality experience
in a manufacturing or fabrication environment NDE Level II certifications
in MT, PT, and Film Interpretation required Familiarity with
ASME Section VIII Div. 1 ,
D1.1 ,
B31.1 ,
B31.3 , and
Section I
codes Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide and develop a small QA team Excellent organizational and documentation skills Comfortable working in both office and fabrication floor environments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform visual inspections as needed Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field CWI certification
(Certified Welding Inspector)
Work Environment
Combination of office and fabrication shop environments. The role requires PPE including safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, and hearing protection.
