Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, CCI or ARDMS Must-Have: - Experience with 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, and Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) - Familiarity with Philips Epiq ultrasound equipment - Proficient in charting systems, preferably Epic Description: The position involves performing echocardiograms for adult and geriatric patients. Duties include diagnosing conditions such as chest pain, shortness of breath, heart failure, and valvular disease. Candidates are expected to assist with structural heart procedures and TEE. Knowledge of utilizing a TD 100 probe cleaner is required for maintaining equipment. There is a patient ratio of 1:7 during weekdays and 1:3 on weekends. Floating between different locations may be necessary. On-call shifts may be required, approximately 1-2 shifts in a 6-week period. Travelers should be prepared to work on major holidays as per the holiday policy. Full compliance with required documents is necessary to start on time.
