About The Position Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: OBMI certification required prior to start date Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS RDCS AE, ARDMS RDCS PE, BLS Must-Have: - Experience with 2-D Echo - Expertise in adult acute care and outpatient settings - Pediatric acute care and outpatient experience Description: This position involves performing inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms. Responsibilities include conducting transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE). The role also requires proficiency in exercise and pharmacologic stress testing. The applicant will participate in call and weekend rotations. The unit provides coverage for patients from neonates to geriatrics. The work schedule consists of 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30. The applicant should be prepared for occasional weekend call coverage. This role demands familiarity with various patient demographics and diagnoses. Eligible candidates must provide two references from recent positions. A manager reference from a position held in the past year is required. Charting experience with Epic is preferred. The position does not accept local candidates within a 75-mile radius. Travel experience is not mandatory but beneficial. Candidates should detail their work history for the last seven years, including any gaps. All degrees earned must include the area of study, institution city and state, and type of degree. Cancellation of the assignment with less than 14 days' notice will result in being marked as a Do Not Rehire. Modules will be completed during orientation and are required annually.
