Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in Cath Lab procedures, BLS, ACLS, and a current California Radiologic Technologist license.
Responsibilities Work in a cardiac catheterization laboratory environment Patient population includes individuals requiring heart catheterizations, pacemakers, and interventional cardiology procedures Responsibilities include scrub tech duties, monitoring, and circulating during heart caths, pacemaker placements, and STEMI cases Day shifts: 4x10 hour shifts, either 6:45 AM–5:15 PM or 8:45 AM–7:15 PM Epic EMR experience is preferred Must be available to complete required lab work within 3-5 days of assignment confirmation Return staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered Only candidates living at least 50 miles from the facility are eligible for travel rates; locals are accepted at a local rate Completion of orientation modules via e-learning is required, typically 1-5 hours References from supervisors within the past year are required Epic charting experience is preferred Must disclose any background issues prior to consideration
Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required Current California Radiologic Technologist license required Active BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross required Experience in Cath Lab scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating Must be able to accept and work holiday shifts as only one holiday request off (RTO) will be approved License required if applicable
