Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of solar construction projects — planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and field personnel to ensure timely and quality completion of work.
Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure alignment with client and regulatory requirements.
Monitor construction progress, quality control, and safety compliance per OSHA and company standards.
Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services to ensure cost efficiency.
Prepare and maintain project schedules using tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
Track and report project budgets, change orders, and cost controls.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
Conduct regular site inspections and project meetings to resolve issues proactively.
Ensure all documentation, permits, and compliance requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications: Minimum
10+ years of experience
in construction project management, with a focus on
commercial and industrial solar
projects. Strong knowledge of electrical, civil, and structural scopes related to solar installations. Proven experience managing subcontractors and vendors. In-depth understanding of
OSHA safety regulations , quality standards, and permitting requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Certifications (Preferred): OSHA 30 Certified NERC Security Certified Lean / Six Sigma / Agile Project Management
