We are seeking an experienced
Senior Maintenance Engineer
to lead maintenance strategy, reliability programs, and process optimization at our Lexington facility. This hands‑on leadership role focuses on ensuring uptime and reliability across a diverse range of advanced manufacturing equipment. Experience in
coating, printing, packaging or chemical processing
industries is
highly desirable , as the processes share similarities with Kurz’s operations, which focus on the manufacturing of
hot/cold stamping foil . Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to ensure maximum equipment uptime and performance. Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing maintenance team focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Oversee maintenance of advanced production systems including: Coating equipment Finishing units Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems Manage CMMS (e.g., eMaint) for work order planning, scheduling, and reporting. Drive continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, and TPM initiatives. Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive measures. Ensure compliance with all
safety, GMP, and environmental regulations . Support capital improvement and modernization projects aligned with business goals. Skills and Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s or MBA preferred). Experience:
7–9 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, including 3–5 years in a leadership role. Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Experience in coating, printing, packaging or chemical processing environments is ideal but not required. Familiarity with automated and high‑speed production systems. Proficiency in CMMS software and maintenance planning tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Knowledge of GMP standards and commitment to safety practices. Forklift experience preferred. Work with
