Now Hiring: Design Liaison Engineer (Mechanical)
Are you a Mechanical Engineer passionate about solving complex manufacturing challenges and driving innovation in advanced turbine component design? We’re looking for a talented professional to join our Design Liaison Engineering (DLE) team supporting global supply chain operations.
In this hands‑on role, you’ll collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and factories to ensure the highest hardware quality standards — working on components like blades, nozzles, and heat shields for next‑generation gas turbine systems.
What You’ll Do:
Apply mechanical engineering fundamentals to address manufacturing issues on turbine hardware
Analyze and disposition non‑conforming hardware using analytical tools
Lead redesign efforts to enhance manufacturability and reliability
Support qualification of new processes and suppliers
Conduct design reviews and risk assessments at the component and system levels
Contribute to process improvements and technical standards
Partner cross‑functionally to drive quality, innovation, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and coatings
Experience with gas turbine components or rotating machinery (preferred)
Familiarity with Ansys, NX, GD&T, and engineering drawings
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Self‑motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment
