Our client, a leader in the aerospace and energy industry, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer IV to join their team. This role is part of the Gas Turbine Engineering organization supporting the Design Liaison Engineering (DLE) team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, collaboration, and a proactive approach to quality and innovation.

$53 – $57 per hour
Responsibilities
Apply mechanical engineering fundamentals to resolve manufacturing issues related to hot gas path hardware for gas turbines.
Utilize analytical tools to analyze hardware deviations and develop effective solutions to improve hardware quality and performance.
Lead hardware redesign efforts by revising drawings to enhance manufacturability and reliability.
Act as a technical focal point for qualification of new processes, changes, and second‑source suppliers.
Conduct technical reviews of design tasks, assess risks at various levels, and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
Proven experience in mechanical engineering within the aerospace or energy sectors.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with engineering tools and software.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Knowledge of gas turbine design and manufacturing processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
