Supplier Quality Engineer
Location:
Fort Worth, TX
Travel:
20% domestic travel may be required.
Key Requirements:
Automotive experience with machined parts (valves, ball, butterfly, cartridges, fittings, pneumatic hoses, adapters, quick couplings) and general quick couplings inspection. Must have experience in machining, assembly, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, problem solving, sense of urgency, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
Work with supplier functions to develop PFMEA, control plans and statistical plans (Cpk). Ensure project and process control documentation is compliant.
Advance Zero Defect culture using statistical analysis, PFMEA, 8D corrective action.
Create and maintain PFMEA, control plans documentation on enterprise platform to meet Parker standards.
Perform virtual and onsite supplier audits as needed.
Collaborate with Procurement to qualify new suppliers.
Quality assurance for new product introductions to suppliers.
Coordinate with Supplier Quality team on all initiatives relating to supplier quality performance.
Must Have Requirements
Interpret blueprints, specifications & work instructions.
Hands‑on expertise in measurement methods & tools.
Data analysis & mining – Pivot charts.
Root cause analysis and problem solving.
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
APQP/PPAP experience.
US person (under ITAR rules) eligible.
Preferred Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in process improvement using Lean, 5S, mistake‑proofing, and capability tools.
4+ years as a Quality Engineer in aerospace.
BS degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or related field.
