Senior Manager of Production
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Manager of Production to oversee the end‑to‑end apparel manufacturing process. This full‑time role demands a strategic leader who can manage timelines, ensure superior quality standards, and optimize production costs across both domestic and international factories.
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Base pay range : $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete production lifecycle, from initial sample approval through to final product delivery, adhering to the seasonal production schedule.
Evaluate and approve preproduction and fit samples, working closely with design and technical teams to address any issues related to fit, fabric, or construction.
Maintain continuous communication with manufacturing partners to coordinate specifications, production timelines, and objectives.
Organize and maintain comprehensive records of styles, sample approvals, and product revisions to ensure smooth production operations.
Develop and oversee seasonal cost sheets, focusing on achieving margin targets through strategic sourcing and production efficiencies.
Identify opportunities to improve production processes and implement solutions for enhanced operational effectiveness.
Collaborate with creative teams to manage the product development calendar and ensure the timely delivery of sales and marketing samples.
Provide clear guidance during the prototyping stage, offering feedback on fit, construction, and materials to manufacturing partners.
Lead product costing and negotiate with vendors to maintain cost‑effective production without compromising quality.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of product data throughout all work‑in‑progress phases.
