Quality Engineer Permanent on‑site position. Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to utilize your technical knowledge, leadership skills, and innovative ideas to drive quality initiatives across our engineering operations. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards and processes, ensuring our products meet the highest quality and performance benchmarks.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the development and implementation of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
Utilize PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) to evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes and ensure they meet specified requirements.
Conduct FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Perform Root Cause Analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues, improving product quality and reducing costs.
Oversee Document Control processes, ensuring all documentation related to quality standards and processes is accurate and up-to-date.
Implement and manage ASQ (American Society for Quality) standards within our engineering operations.
Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure precision and accuracy in our engineering designs and processes.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive quality improvements and resolve quality issues.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Develop and deliver quality training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of the engineering team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the Engineering industry.
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) is highly desirable.
Proficient in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Document Control, and GD&T.
Excellent problem‑solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using quality management software and related tools.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong understanding of industry and regulatory standards and requirements.
