About the Role We are seeking a
Senior Media Strategist
to lead the development and execution of integrated media strategies across both digital and traditional channels. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands‑on execution — you’ll serve as both the planner and buyer, driving results for clients through data‑informed decisions and thoughtful media investments. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, client‑facing, and comfortable managing the full campaign lifecycle from strategy to optimization.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead the media planning process, translating client goals into actionable media strategies and measurable objectives.
Develop and execute holistic media plans spanning digital, social, and traditional media channels.
Conduct in-depth audience research using tools such as
Scarborough
and
Nielsen
to uncover insights into target audience behavior.
Oversee RFP development, evaluate proposals from media partners, and negotiate rates and added value to maximize media performance.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving media platforms to continuously inform strategy.
Campaign Management & Optimization
Manage day-to-day campaign execution, ensuring flawless delivery of assets and adherence to timelines and processes.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, identifying optimization opportunities to improve ROI and achieve client KPIs.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure strategic alignment and clear communication throughout campaign delivery.
Must-Haves
4+ years of experience in media planning and buying (strong candidates with slightly less experience will be considered).
Proven experience managing
both strategy and execution
across
digital and traditional
media channels.
Prior
client-facing experience
with strong presentation and communication skills.
Agency or in‑house agency background.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in
B2B
media strategy and execution.
Exposure to
financial
or
healthcare
industries.
