We’re seeking a compassionate, evidence-based clinician to provide individual, group, and family therapy for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The ideal candidate is collaborative, trauma-informed, and comfortable working in a fast-moving outpatient environment that centers access, equity, and measurable outcomes.

Base Pay Range $65,000 - $75,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic formulation, and individualized treatment planning for dual-diagnosis clients.

Deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, DBT-informed skills, MI, relapse‑prevention, psychoeducation).

Facilitate therapeutic groups and family sessions that support stabilization, recovery, and community reintegration.

Coordinate care with psychiatry, primary care, case management, and community partners; participate in interdisciplinary case conferences.

Monitor risk and safety; complete crisis intervention, safety planning, and mandated reporting as needed.

Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation (notes, treatment plans, discharges, releases) in the EMR within program standards.

Track outcomes (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7, substance use metrics) and adjust treatment based on data and client goals.

Support referral navigation (housing, benefits, MAT, higher/lower levels of care) to address social determinants of health.

Uphold confidentiality, HIPAA, and state/federal regulations; follow agency policies and quality‑assurance standards.

Qualifications

Required:

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.

Licensure (NC):

LCMHC/A, LCSW/A, LMFT/A, LPA, or eligible; active, in‑good‑standing license or associate license in North Carolina.

At least

1–2 years

clinical experience with co‑occurring disorders in outpatient or community settings (internship may count).

Proficiency with EMR documentation, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Strong skills in risk assessment, de‑escalation, and crisis response.

Commitment to culturally responsive, client‑centered, and recovery‑oriented care.

Preferred Experience

Experience with MAT coordination, harm‑reduction, and relapse‑prevention models.

Group facilitation expertise and family systems work.

Evidence‑based certifications/training (e.g., CBT, DBT skills, MI, TF‑CBT).
