is currently seeking a highly qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with experience in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) or Robotics to join our engineering team. This role requires a solid foundation in CAD design, specifically CREO, along with experience in structural analysis, kinematic analysis, and electrical systems integration. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in manufacturing processes and program management skills, as well as the ability to present and communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders.

Salary Range $90,000 – $125,000 per year.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design and create component and assembly drawings using CREO or equivalent CAD software.
Interpret, review, and develop mechanical and electrical systems drawings and specifications.
Perform kinematic analysis and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to mechanical designs.
Conduct structural analysis using ANSYS or equivalent simulation tools to ensure design integrity.
Integrate electrical circuits and components into mechanical assemblies, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Leverage expertise in aerodynamics to influence system designs for UAS and robotics applications.
Provide program management oversight to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
Present technical data and project updates to internal teams and external clients.
Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production and meet quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent field of study.
Minimum of 3 years engineering experience in a manufacturing background.
U.S. citizenship required.
Ability to pass background checks and gain access to customer facilities.
Up to 25% travel within the U.S. and Canada.
Strong experience with CREO or equivalent CAD software.
Thorough knowledge of standard drawing practices and ability to read, interpret, and create component and assembly drawings.
Competency in kinematic analysis and GD&T.
Program management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to convey technical information clearly.
Experience with ANSYS or similar tools for structural analysis.
Solid understanding of electrical circuits, components, and integration into mechanical systems.
Knowledge of aerodynamics as it applies to UAS and robotics.
Hands‑on background in manufacturing processes and practical experience in solving real‑world engineering problems.
Preferred Qualifications
UAS/Robotics experience.
Experience working in defense, aerospace, or related industries.
Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques.
Experience in robotics design and control systems.
