Oracle Fusion Payroll Functional Architect
We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Oracle Fusion Payroll Functional Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll, with deep expertise in its integration with Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) and advanced proficiency in Oracle Fast Formulas. This role will lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end functional design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll modules (earnings, deductions, taxes, legislative reporting).
Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications and system configurations.
Provide expert guidance on integrating Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) with Payroll for seamless time-to-pay processes.
Design and test Oracle Fast Formulas for payroll calculations, validations, accruals, and business rules.
Conduct fit-gap analysis, prototype solutions, and lead CRPs and UAT sessions.
Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data conversions, reports, and customizations.
Develop functional design documents, test scripts, and end-user training materials.
Deliver training and support to users and internal teams to drive adoption.
Stay updated on Oracle Fusion HCM product enhancements and industry trends.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll and OTL-related issues.
Required Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, with at least 5 years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll as a Functional Architect or Lead Consultant.
Oracle Payroll Cloud Certified Implementation Professional (or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), including timecard layouts, approval workflows, and time calculation rules.
Proven expertise in designing and testing Oracle Fast Formulas.
Experience with full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
Strong understanding of core HR processes and their integration with Payroll.
Preferred Experience
Exposure to other Oracle Fusion HCM modules such as Core HR, Absence Management, or Compensation.
Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and HCM Extracts.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
