Position Summary The University of South Florida's Department of Plastic Surgery is seeking a fellowship trained hand surgeon at the Assistant Professor level to join our growing plastic surgery team at USF/Tampa General Hospital (TGH)/Moffitt Cancer Center. Candidates will provide care at one of the busiest hospitals in Florida. Candidates must be a physician, eligible for licensure in Florida, and have completed a plastic surgery residency and a complex extremity/hand focused fellowship.
Responsibilities
Manage patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
See outpatients at the University of South Florida College of Medicine Medical Clinics, and TGH sites.
Complete clinical obligations such as chart completion, patient follow-up, finalize billing, etc.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or an appropriate highest degree with demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
Must meet criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor.
Board certified or board eligible by the appropriate American Board in Plastic Surgery.
Hold or be eligible to hold a full unrestricted FL Medical License, maintain credentials in the USF Health faculty practice plan and be a member of the medical staff in good standing at the hospitals where assigned to perform clinical duties.
