Salary Base pay: $28.00/hr – $28.00/hr. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual short‑term incentive bonus, subject to eligibility criteria.

Hours & Compensation

6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Mon – Fri)

Overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical sub‑assembly duties including pocket assembly, job‑order control, use of a computer for resource code retrieval from Oracle, use of hand tools (drills, gauges, specialty tools for subs), follow production schedule, read basic blueprints, produce according to takt time, assemble Alduti handles, barrier clips assembly, door stop, screen stops, snap‑locks, and other basic custom assemblies.

Door sub‑assembly duties including gasket sub‑assembly, use of overhead crane, install windows.

Bolt together duties which include bus/main and ground, adding gasket and bushings, lift up to 35 lbs, read mechanical diagrams, apply customization such as fixtures, options, etc.

Ability to use fundamental math.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

Basic shop math and measuring tools such as tape measures.

Ability to use and stand on a ladder while performing assemblies and using hand tools.

Ability to use air impact tools and other hand‑held tools.

Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures and read assembly prints.

Skills

Read and interpret one‑line diagram.

Read and interpret CDA drawings and multiple product lines.

Work as point person on a build team.

Train newer team members in a multi‑product environment.

Work with inspection to facilitate completion and close‑out of a job.

Understand mid‑level wiring diagrams, drawings and schematics.

Perform harness assembly from drawings and wiring drawings.

Conduit layout and installation, including bending, cutting and joining.

Proper wire routing within a bay or lineup to achieve maximum efficiency.

Print interpretation and component layout pre‑wiring drawings.

Physical Demands

Standing: most tasks performed in a standing position with intermittent walking.

Lifting: frequent lifting of items 5 lb.–50 lb.

Walking: occasional short walks ( Carrying: frequent carrying of items 5 lb.–25 lb.

Pushing/Pulling: occasional use of electric hand truck.

Bending: frequent bending and crouching required.

Reaching: continuous full range of motion from above shoulders to below knees.

Handling: continuous handling of parts 5 lb.–25 lb., with various hand‑tools.
