Job Overview Multi‑location healthcare organization is looking to add a Controller to its finance team at headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This stable role offers an opportunity to work in a reliable industry and a chance to improve processes and shape a rewarding career.

Compensation To $135K + bonus DOE.

Responsibilities

Direct finance department activities for general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, revenue, and cash management.

Prepare and review annual and month‑end close.

Review and explain monthly, quarterly, and annual variances in general ledger accounts.

Approve entries queued by staff and all bank reconciliations.

Prepare or review general ledger reconciliations.

Handle tax filings and compliance (sales tax, 1099, business personal property tax).

Lead annual tasks including supporting budgeting, financial audit, workers’ comp audit, and managing tax filing for all lines of business.

Maintain financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

Lead process improvement and automation initiatives for the department.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Accounting and/or CPA preferred.

4+ years of experience with month‑end close, multi‑location consolidation.

2+ years supervising degreed accountants.

Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
