You’ll work closely with a small, collaborative finance team and partner directly with organizational leaders to ensure strong accounting operations while also supporting creative and community-focused projects. What You’ll Do
Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
Oversee AP/AR across multiple entities
Support annual audit and insurance renewal processes
Assist with budget preparation and provide financial reporting to both finance and non‑finance leaders
Partner with program leaders on budgets for high‑profile community initiatives
Contribute to payroll support, IRS filings, and compliance needs
Build relationships across the organization to strengthen financial collaboration
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
3+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit background helpful but not required)
Strong foundation in general ledger, journal entries, and month‑end close
QuickBooks or ERP system experience preferred
CPA is always welcomed
A curious, proactive mindset and the ability to explain financial concepts to non‑accountants
Mission‑driven perspective and desire to contribute to the community
