Mechanical Design Engineer | Casting, Fuel Systems, and Die Casting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or related field (required).
5+ years
of mechanical engineering experience, ideally within
component engine fuel systems, casting, or die casting .
Proficient in
3D mechanical design software
(SolidWorks preferred).
Hands‑on experience with
FEA, CFD , and
tolerance stack‑up analysis .
Strong understanding of
GD&T and manufacturing processes .
Familiarity with
injection molding and die casting
processes.
Experience with
CSA Class I, Div 2, and UL standards
(preferred).
Excellent
communication, collaboration, and organizational
skills.
Detail‑oriented with a
proactive, problem‑solving
mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of new
mechanical and electro‑mechanical products
from concept through production.
Perform
FEA, CFD, and tolerance stack‑up analyses
to ensure robust product designs.
Conduct design reviews, DFMEAs, PFMEAs, and DFM assessments.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with manufacturing, validation, and quality teams to support both new and existing product lines.
Estimate product costs, tooling requirements, and development timelines.
Develop and execute design validation test plans in coordination with internal test labs.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and drafters to ensure high‑quality engineering deliverables.
