Annual Salary Range:
$52,000 — $72,800 (based on experience and certification)
Shift Differentials:
+$3 Nights | +$3 Weekends |

Operating Room Technologist II (Tier 2)

This role is designed for experienced technologists who are confident handling most surgical specialties and ready to take the next step toward advanced practice. You’ll work side-by-side with top surgeons and a collaborative perioperative team in a hospital known for innovation, quality, and patient safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile supplies for scheduled and emergency cases.
Scrub and assist surgeons in procedures such as robotics, orthopedics, neuro/spine, and vascular.
Anticipate team needs during surgery and ensure seamless communication throughout each case.
Maintain aseptic technique, monitor equipment performance, and support room turnover efficiency.
Collaborate with circulating nurses, anesthesia staff, and physicians to optimize outcomes.
Support staff education, orientation, and process‑improvement efforts within the OR.
Participate in on‑call rotations with 30-minute response compliance.
Qualifications Required:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (CORT)
Minimum 1 year of operating‑room experience in acute care settings
Competency as first scrub in three of four specialty areas (Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, Vascular)
Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Preferred:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST — NBSTSA) credential
3+ years of multi‑specialty surgical experience
Excellent organization, communication, and wire‑handling skills
