Job Description
As Quality Engineer, you ensure the highest quality products/rigid plastic containers are produced at the Pineville, LA site. You work closely with customers, suppliers and internal partners to develop & maintain quality processes, educate associates, resolve issues, and lead continuous improvement activities.

You Will
Define and implement performance metrics for processes, measure output, monitor performance, quality and compliance to processes and to business goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally to quality goals are met, such as rework and scrap reduction, as well as on time product delivery to customers.
Analyze statistical process control data to understand process variation, initiating corrective actions when necessary. In addition, lead change control protocols and follow-up to validate effective change implementation.
Investigate customer issues with product quality and lead the development of root cause analyses, design of experiments (DOE), or 8D programs to produce effective corrective actions.
Visit customer facilities to conduct health check meetings and maintain positive customer relationships.
Serve as site voice-to-suppliers for all quality issues.
Work with site leadership to maintain ISO standards and food safety certification, including serving as auditor.
Lead and participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
You Have
Associates or Bachelor’s degree.
Demonstrated working knowledge of process improvement concepts such as DOE, FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, SPC and other analytical problem solving/continuous improvement tools.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TQM, and Six Sigma principles.
Ability to lead teams in root cause investigations and continuous improvement activities.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is .
