Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a self‑contained special education program serving elementary students with low‑incidence and profound disabilities. This full‑time role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference by helping students strengthen their communication abilities and engage more fully in their learning environment.
About the Role: In this role, you will conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify individual student needs and determine effective intervention strategies. You’ll develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that include measurable communication goals tailored to each learner. Therapy will be delivered through individual and small‑group sessions focused on expressive and receptive language, articulation, fluency, and pragmatic communication skills.
Collaboration is central to this position—you’ll work closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, occupational and physical therapists, and other related service providers to ensure consistent, effective communication support across all settings. You’ll also provide training and guidance to staff on using AAC devices, visual supports, and other communication systems to enhance classroom engagement.
Additionally, you’ll maintain detailed documentation, collect and analyze data, and ensure compliance with district and state requirements. Active participation in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development will help you stay current with evidence‑based practices in speech‑language pathology.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement or eligibility.
Experience with students who have multiple or profound disabilities is preferred.
