The Electrical Project Manager plans, directs, and delivers the electrical scope for commercial/industrial projects in Indiana. The PM leads preconstruction through closeout, owning schedule, budget, quality, and safety, while coordinating field teams, vendors, and customers.
This role requires previous hands-on experience as a commercial electrician, with a strong understanding of field installation, workflow, and trade-level problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage project schedules, budgets, and work plans, track percent complete, costs, and cash flow.
Lead submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, and material logistics.
Coordinate with Superintendents/Foremen.
Interpret drawings/specifications, drive constructability, value engineering, and code compliance.
Maintain client, GC, and trade-partner relationships, lead progress meetings and site walks.
Ensure QA/QC, commissioning, and punch-list completion; manage closeout documentation.
Required Qualifications
Previous experience working as a licensed or apprentice electrician on commercial electrical projects.
Proven ability to transition from field work to project management.
Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, installation methods, and NEC requirements.
Proficiency in electrical estimating, design, and national electrical code.
Physical Demands Occasional site visits. Ability to climb, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs., valid driver's license.
