With that spirit, we are hiring a Senior Account Supervisor to join our Integrated Brand Team, focusing on consumer and business media relations, influencer engagement, integrated creative concepting, digital integration (social, paid, analytics), project management, and collaboration with other Edelman specialties.
We need a dynamic Senior Account Supervisor who has an energized approach to building brands and an integrated experience that drives business impact. You will run a fast‑paced, high‑impact team and partner with integrated marketers to lead and grow our business through smart, attention‑grabbing work and elevated client relationships.
Responsibilities
Play a major role in driving the research, planning, development and execution of comprehensive integrated communications and marketing event campaigns.
Build trusted client relationships rooted in open dialogue and mutual understanding; serve as client lead, providing daily strategic counsel and ensuring quality execution aligned with each client’s business goals.
Develop and deliver integrated communications strategies across PR, digital/social, influencer, and creative platforms, with knowledge of traditional advertising mediums such as TV, print, brochures, OOH, etc.
Serve as the brand steward with internal stakeholders, ensuring program execution stays on brand.
Focus the team’s work on earning credibility, landing headline‑leading earned coverage.
Oversee quality and operational performance of accounts, ensuring work quality and deadline adherence, and manage junior staff’s deliverables for consistency.
Participate in cross‑practice and cross‑geographical teams to present compelling proposals to clients and prospects.
Manage client service and quality control, recommending tactics to clients and internal leads on project implementation.
Effectively communicate and present recommendations and POVs to gain internal and client alignment.
Lead and adapt creative solutions within inter‑agency (IAT) environments across creative, digital, paid media, in‑store, etc., collaborating with partners.
Understand the evolution of earned programming and how PR translates into today’s complex media environment.
Demonstrate ability to evolve brands, garner attention, and drive consumer action.
Generate both quick‑turn creative solutions and longer‑term programming with agility and flexibility.
Show proficiency in writing skills across internal and client correspondence, communications plans, client presentations, and press materials.
Partner with measurement and analytics teams to set program goals and manage execution against them.
Exhibit proven leadership, growing a team through coaching, feedback, and example.
Employ strong strategic client counsel while managing upstream, downstream, and cross‑team relationships.
Show financial acumen, leading profitable business and managing client budgets.
Demonstrate strong time‑management skills and the ability to prioritize deliverables.
Basic Qualifications
At least 6 years of relevant experience in Communications and/or related fields.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing clients as day‑to‑day contact, counseling on strategy, and pushing back when needed.
Comprehensive understanding of client businesses, missions, and key stakeholders, and ability to communicate that knowledge within the team.
Proven ability to manage large projects on sizable accounts.
Experience managing teams and delegating tactical assignments, while editing work of others.
Ability to work with Project Management as a fundamental partner for integrated campaign plans.
Ability to oversee budgets and staffing plans.
Comfortable with tight timelines.
Familiarity with best‑practice communications tactics and public relations tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Regular travel expected to support client engagement, business development, and strategic initiatives.
$80,000 - $120,000 a year. Salary is determined by experience, education, and market factors.
