Job Description The Hybrid Water Treatment Technical Application Engineer will lead and manage multiple projects throughout the sales cycle, providing technical support to the regional sales team from lead qualification to contract signature and handoff to Project Management execution. The role involves developing project solutions, coordinating bid and proposal documents, assisting with product development and marketing, and supporting commercial strategy development for specific products. This position is suited for individuals with some experience who are looking to deepen their expertise and take on more responsibility.
Responsibilities
Coordinate task delegation and completion among various internal departments and sales departments in response to customer requests, completing tasks autonomously as needed.
Help develop project solutions and winning strategies for ongoing projects.
Lead bid preparation and manage proposal documentation.
Prioritize tasks personally and within internal departments relating to project needs and required response times.
Complete preliminary process designs using provided tools and models, and generate P&IDs with minimal oversight.
Calculate project pricing and work with vendors to ensure equipment meets project guidelines.
Review technical specifications and provide necessary clarifications and exceptions.
Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration for technical and commercial risk mitigation.
Assist in preparing and leading Bid Tender Risk Review Meetings.
Help review purchase orders and other legal documents to identify commercial and legal issues.
Develop and maintain standard sales tools, such as specification documents and pricing sheets.
Provide technical training and support to junior engineers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Engineering or other technical fields).
3–5 years of experience in a related field.
Strong technical competence and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English (written and verbal).
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Proficient in water treatment processes, system design principles, and equipment selection.
