Job Description: We are seeking an experienced
Travel Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech)
to join the
Radiology Department
. The ideal candidate must be
registered in vascular (RVT)
and proficient with GE ultrasound equipment. This position requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during night shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Duties & Responsibilities: Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures including:
Pelvic/Transvaginal Renal and Renal Dopplers Abdomen & Abdomen Limited 1st Trimester Pregnancy Testicular Carotid Upper and Lower Extremity Venous Studies
Assist with procedures such as Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Biopsies, and Drainages (preferred). Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure quality imaging and patient care. Maintain accurate patient documentation in
Meditech EMR
. Float within the department and patient rooms as needed. Certificates / Licenses Required: ARDMS
(American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) RVT
(Registered Vascular Technologist) BLS
(Basic Life Support – AHA) Requirements: Minimum
2 years of recent ultrasound experience
. 2 years of travel experience
preferred. Proficient in
GE ultrasound equipment
