Job Title: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Profession: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: ARDMS, RVT Certifications: - Vascular Certification required - Registered Vascular Technology (RVT) Must-Have: - ARDMS and RVT certification - At least 1 year of experience - Experience with GE equipment Description: Vascular certification is required. Candidates must be registered in vascular technology. The unit has a total of 228 beds. Staffing includes 1 full-time technologist and 3 PRN staff members. Typical hiring profile includes excellent time management skills. Candidates should be positive, hardworking, and reliable. Must be open to working weekends, holiday call, and shift coverage for holidays. Typical procedures performed include pelvic/transvaginal ultrasounds, renal and renal dopplers, and abdominal ultrasounds.
