Position Overview
Our client is seeking a
Senior Accountant
to join their team. This is a
full‑time / permanent position
with a
direct client of Aprio Talent Solutions.
Seeking candidates with strong NetSuite experience.
(System is already implemented and now they need post go‑live cleanup / setup for their environment)
Location & Salary Location:
100% Remote (Must be US based)
Salary:
Up to $90,000 (No bonus)

Responsibilities
Assess the current setup (chart of accounts, workflows, permissions, etc.)
Identify gaps and inefficiencies
Build reports and dashboards
Handle core accounting functions (month‑end close, reconciliations, journal entries)
Utilize NetSuite to manage multi‑entity accounting under an MSO structure
Set up NetSuite to meet the needs of accounting / finance department.
Maintain accurate general ledger records across multiple entities
Record and reconcile daily transactions including A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank feeds
Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payments in compliance with policies
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany balances monthly
Support month‑end, quarterly, and year‑end close (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations)
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management and partner practices
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements and projections
Provide quarterly financials with comparisons to prior periods and prior year
Identify and report significant expense variances (10%+ month over month)
Coordinate with practice managers to ensure accurate revenue and expense allocations
Support audits and ensure compliance with state‑specific regulations and internal controls
Maintain vendor records, W‑9s, and assist with 1099 preparation
Continuously seek process improvements leveraging NetSuite functionality
Must‑Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Expert‑level proficiency in NetSuite (Experience setting up NetSuite, not just journal entries)
Solid understanding of GAAP and bookkeeping best practices
Nice to Have
Experience in healthcare or medical group settings
Familiarity with revenue cycle management and healthcare billing concepts
Experience with MSO healthcare accounting (or private equity)
